Players To Watch Out For

My top 10 players that will make a great mark on the Premier League in the years to come. I haven't included the players who have already been big headlines.

10) Chris Smalling - United signed the defender from Fulham last season, and he is already featuring in big games. With Evans' loss of form, he's the better young centre-back for now. He showed class in all his appearances till now.

9)Mark Albrighton - Aston Villa have found a great winger in this lad. He has great scoring ability and also gets in great crosses. His running ability is also commendable.

8)Phil Jones - After his stunning display for the Rovers against Chelsea, he was a new star. He is a solid young defender. Lots of expectations from him.

7)Joe Hart - He's both England and City's No. 1 keeper now. He has the talent to make it big at Premier league level.

6)Daniel Sturridge - The only Chelsea youngster to have any sort of mark on the game. He has shown great ability and skill. With a little bit of composure, he's sure to succeed.

5)Danny Welbeck - Sunderland have greatly benefited from his scoring skills. He's an asset in any team. United will welcome him after he completes his loan spell with open arms.

4)Tom Cleverly - He's helped Wigan out of tight corners. A midfielder, who scores freely, he controls the game well. Another United player out at loan, the Devils will love having him in their ranks next season.

3)Jack Wilshere - He has risen very quickly among the Gunners ranks to be one of the big game players. He gets in the right places, in the right time.

2)Rafael Da Silva - He is now United's 1st choice right-back, and one of the most uprising fullback in the league. He has big days ahead of him.

1)Seamus Coleman - One of the biggest new faces and finds of this season, this Everton winger has shown brilliance at the top level. His performances have brought Everton out of the relegation zone and he still continues to impress. A star of tomorrow!

People's Favourite Crime Drama

Lie To Me recently won the 'Favourite TV Crime Drama' at the People's Choice Awards. Win at the PCA means having people's approval and love.

There are so many reasons that this series has such fan following, but I'd like to take time to list a few important ones.

Lie To Me is more than people fighting crime. Firstly, the people at Lightman Group aren't ordinary folk. They are, in my opinion, a band of misfits and (in the positive sense) freaks. When you see them work at reading witnesses, you are bound to think that this is the job for them. They hardly come across as your average joes or plain janes. As scripted in the series, they also have a hard time seperating their professional life from personal. When a family member lies, its hard for them to let go.

Secondly, when Agent Reynold's character was added, Lightman Group became affiliated with the FBI. This was a significant step, since earlier they would seem a bit like vigilantes. Now we see an official group, that solves crime through their science. One which they have practiced.

Thirdly, Tim Roth. He is brilliant. He can be a bit English sometimes, but he adds a high electricity to the series. He is the King of the Misfits and he excels in such characters. As evident, he made little impact in Virgin Territory or Incredible Hulk, but here we get to see a Four Rooms' Tim Roth, one who can barely control himself, causing chaos and getting your attention.
